Where to get yarn:
There are multitudes of stores on line that sell yarn, crochet hooks, pompoms, buttons and everything else you could possibly need to create beautiful crocheted items. Here are a few of my favorite places to shop.
Please be aware that some of these are affiliate links and I will receive a small commission (at NO extra cost to you) if you decide to purchase something.
lovecrafts.com tops my list of favorite places to shop. They almost ALWAYS have a great sale on and usually offer some sort of free shipping offer if you meet a minimum purchase requirement. As well, they have some yarns and manufacturers that you might not be able to find in your local craft and yarn stores. I like to check out LoveCrafts.com when I’m starting a new project to give me some inspiration for colors and yarns!
Crochet.com is one of the newest places I have shopped online for yarn. I was especially impressed with their selection of “bare” yarns of every weight and many different fibres. These bare yarns are beautiful on their own, but they are being marketed to indie dyers and do-it-yourselfers who want to experiment and create their own custom yarn colors. My next adventure is learning how to dye my own yarn! Stay tuned for a post about my experiences!
